Christmas Tree - Relocation

The Christmas tree that was erected at the north entrance of Keswick on the River has been relocated due to some confusion with the subcontractor that was hired by the neighbourhood developer. This tree was actually allocated for Keswick Landing, and as a result is no longer at the neighbourhood entrance. The tree that belongs to Keswick on the River is still in storage as a result, and with only a short time span before Christmas the significant cost to expedite the install, although festive, does not fall in line with the boards prudent allocation of community funds. There has been no cost impact to the community and no funds have been spent on the tree erection for this year, and this will be more carefully planned for future holidays.
