Landscaping challenge with update from City of Edmonton

Dear KOTR Residents,

We wanted to provide an update on the landscaping challenges facing in the Keswick community. The main issue has been the uncontrolled growth of dandelions and thistles in our naturalized and turf areas throughtout Keswick and across the City of Edmonton.

The root cause of this problem is that the City of Edmonton has denied all attempts by landscape contrators to obtain permits to apply herbicides and fertilizers. This is due to a municpal moratorium on certain herbicides, including 2,4-D.

It's important to note that All Green's role is to supplement the City's maintenance efforts, not to take over full responsibility. 

If you notice any landscaping-related issues, please feel free to send a picture and a message to the HOA board. Please send a 311 enquiry for public landscaping and vacant lots.
